With great sorrow, we bid farewell to Urs Vonrufs, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 64—far too soon.
Urs was not only an outstanding player for the Swiss national team, for which he made 35 appearances, but also a loyal friend, companion, and a true role model for many within the darts community. With his passion, determination, and ever-positive spirit, he touched the hearts of countless people and left a lasting mark on our scene.
His dart teams—the NoNames, the Rabä Darter, and the Midland Knights—not only lose a strong player but also a true teammate who lived for the sport with dedication and humor.
In deep gratitude and silent solidarity, we reflect on the beautiful moments we shared and extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife Kathy, his son Eric, his daughter Kim, and all his loved ones.
