9 Darts Jackpot

From the 2023 SDA Masters onwards, CHF 6’666 will be awarded for the perfect game.

In order to increase the attractiveness of Swiss Darts tournaments, the 9 Darts Jackpot was created at the beginning of 1996.

If a player completes a perfect game (501 with 9 darts, with a double finish), the 9 Darts Jackpot is paid out. From each of the affiliated tournaments, CHF 1.00 per player is added to the jackpot, which thus slowly but steadily increases.

The following tournaments offer the chance to win the 9 Darts Jackpot:

• Papillon Open - DC Papillon
• SDA Swiss Masters - SWISS DARTS ASSOCIATION
• Swiss Open (stage games only) - SDA SWISS DARTS ASSOCIATION
• Helvetia Open (stage games only) - SDA SWISS DARTS ASSOCIATION
• Obersee Darts Open - March Darters (Patronage: DC Einsiedeln)
• SDA Swiss Championships - SDA SWISS DARTS ASSOCIATION

Other tournaments can join the jackpot at any time. The SDA board will inform about the conditions of participation.

The 9 Darts Jackpot has only been emptied twice so far:

• 1998 at the Effi Open (CHF 1'500.-) Tony Medina, Neuchâtel
• 2000 at the Swiss Open (CHF 1'500.-) Graeme Stoddard, England
